Fr. Richard Pagano is a priest from our Diocese and is returning from studies in San Diego at John Paul the Great University. Father Pagano has earned an MBA in Film Producing and Communications in order to impact culture for Christ and evangelize through new media efforts. Fr. Pagano prior to his appointment in studies was parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Palm Coast. Furthermore he served as Chaplain at St. Joseph Academy. Father completed his undergraduate studies at Ave Maria University and M.Div. at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL. He speaks at nationwide youth conferences and has a passion for empowering the faithful through proclaiming the gospel. He attributes great vocational inspiration to Pope John Paul II who continues to inspire him to serve all of God’s people and embody the Truth that “from the Eucharist comes strength to live the Christian life and zeal to share that life with others” (St. John Paul II). Father Pagano will serve as parochial vicar of Resurrection Parish, Jacksonville. He will also serve as a consultant to the diocesan Office of Communications and as a campus minister at Jacksonville University.
Mr. Connor graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics. He holds two Master's Degrees, a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, San Diego, and a Master's of Educational Leadership from Barry University, Miami, FL. Mr. Connor was in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer and is currently retired having served 9 years active duty and 12 years as a Reservist. Mr. Connor joined Resurrection School in 2003.
Mr. Richey has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and a Masters in Conducting. He is also certified to teach music to grades K thru 12. Mr. Richey is a retired Navy Helicopter Pilot and previously taught at the Hun School, in Princeton NJ. Mr. Richey joined Resurrection School in 2012 He is currently our Music Teacher & Band Director. Mr. Richey also teaches music at at St Paul’s (Riverside).
Mrs. Chapman has been a member of Resurrection Parish since 1972 and employed as a teacher at Resurrection Catholic School since 1996. She has served in multiple positions for both Church and School ranging from Life Teen/RYTE Youth Leader and Music Ministry to teaching Library skills, Computer/Technology Systems, Jr. High Spanish and Religion. She is the Coordinator for the Sacramental program of Confirmation and directs the Living Stations, Living Nativity, and other Liturgical activities for the school.
