The Ministry of the traveling Statue of Our Lady of Fatima began in the 1990's when Father Tom Cody was our Pastor.  Initially the tradition began in 1976 at Christ the King Parish by Mr. Al Martin.  Resurrection members wanted to have a traveling statue. With the help of Al Martin, Ofelia San Juan, a parishioner at Resurrection, purchased a statue and Father Cody blessed it.  Since that time, the statue has been traveling our homes in Resurrection for approximately 20 years.  The prayer theme is for Peace, Unity and Love within each home and within the parish. In addition, it is encouraged that you add any intentions and/or petitions you and your family want to make to our Lady.
